AMERICAN STANDOFF tells the story of the armed takeover of Oregon’s Malheur Wildlife Refuge and its violent conclusion. American Standoff chronicles the ongoing fight for land rights in the Western United States and the conflicts that led to the Malheur Standoff. This is the personal story of the Hammonds, an Oregon ranching family whose twenty year fight with government agencies led to their controversial trial and conviction on an anti-terrorism charge.
